CHANTA' NICHOLE M.DIV.
Woman of God, Mother, Daughter, Sister, Cousin, Friend, Educator, Student, Artist, Writer, Director, Producer, and Lover of God's People
Chanta' Nichole, was born and raised in the beautifully, eclectic, urban cool, city of Philadelphia. As many know, Philly is a really tough town, and it is that toughness which gets embedded into the hearts of all Philadelphians that has allowed Chanta' Nichole, like many others to persevere and be steadfast in both her personal and theological life. After the completion of her degree (Master of Divinity), a reassessment of her call to ministry along with the particular gifts, talents, and skill sets, in her repertoire , it is clear that she is to use every lane she has access to, as a pathway to show the love of Christ for the people of the her beloved community. Even in her continued education pursuits God has managed to use her as one of many to highlight the ever present yet often overlooked "Femme Factor" that consistently flows through the biblical narrative, and in the history of civilization......

Portfolio of Work
Chanta' Nichole has written, directed, and produced a number of productions through stage and short film formats. She'd like to see more contemporary urban productions told from a Christian perspective. She'd also like to be instrumental in directing and producing traditional biblical stories told using actors who look like the people of that era in that geographical context.
A CHARLIE BROWN CHRISTMAS
Chanta' was the director of this production which was casted using youth actors ages 4-16.
IZZY WON'T SIGN
Chanta' Nichole, wrote, directed, and produced a short film that she hopes to eventually turn into a full length screenplay. This film chronicles the life of young man in turmoil, who nearly sells his soul to make it but through some divine interceptions is able to escape a destructive fate.
Chanta' Nichole took the academic doctoral work of Dr. Francesca Nuzzoles in the area of human trafficking based on the lives of women from completely different backgrounds who had been rescued and turned it into a professional script. She then had the privilege to direct three separate showings of the production in various locations.
THE DRUMMER BOY
Chanta' Nichole, adapted this production to fit a more modern take and incorporated current gospel songs to fit the production style.
THE FRUIT STAND
Chanta' Nichole, co-wrote this production with then writing partner Lashonda Green, which they adapted from a spoken word piece by the same name written by Philadelphia Fire Chief Minister Troy Gore, which gives the fictional account of a fruit vendor at calvary who witnessed the crucifixion of Christ
A CHRISTMAS CAROL URBANIZE
Chanta' Nichole, adapted the classic story of "A Christmas Carol" and added a more overtly Christian theme with a modern and urban take, which included Ebaneezer Scrooge bing a record label executive, a battle dance sequence between demons and angels over his soul, and a direct divine interaction between God and Scrooge which was the turning point for scrooge.

Events in and around that Philly Town
I take great pleasure in highlighting positivity in our community such as the Grand Opening of Uncle Bobbies Coffee and Book Store (A Community based and focused Coffee Shop), The Comeback Philly Style ( A annual Black Music Moth celebration which honors the contributions of some of music's icons that come from Philadelphia). There are so many other things that happen in the life and love of a community so I try to include a little bit of it all...
